Dennis Fedorinchik, Board of Directors Chairman

Mr. Fedorinchik purchased 50% of Hallmark Construction, Inc. in 1977 after serving in various construction roles on commercial construction projects throughout the Metro Detroit area. In 1990 Mr. Fedorinchik became President and sole owner of Hallmark Construction, Inc. During his thirty-six year career his numerous responsibilities have included project estimating and budget development, project management, business development, field coordination, project development and contractor coordination. Mr. Fedorinchik has been involved in many significant projects in Northern Michigan, serving as the project manager for the Cherry Capital Airport Terminal, Charlevoix East Park Marina, Dow Center for Visual Arts, and Manistee Blacker Airport among countless other projects. Several of these projects have been awarded excellence in construction awards, as chosen by a panel of peers and community leaders.

As partner and Construction Manager of The Copper Ridge Development in Traverse City Mr. Fedorinchik was involved in the initial land acquisition and redevelopment through the Brownfield Authority. As Construction Manager, Mr. Fedorinchik was involved in site engineering and infrastructure development, construction of five professional office and retail buildings, and the build-out of numerous tenant spaces. The total construction cost of the Copper Ridge projects exceeded $19,000,000 over a three-year period.

Mr. Fedorinchik attended Henry Ford Community College, Lawrence Institute of Technology, was in the Michigan Army National Guard and has his Builder's License for the State of Michigan. Mr. Fedorinchik is also a certified professional through the Michigan DEQ Certification for Stormwater Professionals and is a Certified Storm Water Professional through Wal-Mart Stores and the EPA approved training program.

Jeff Fedorinchik, President

Mr. Fedorinchik has been employed with Hallmark Construction, Inc. as a Project Manager since 2007. Mr. Fedorinchik has served as a Project Superintendent, Project Manager and Business Development Director during his tenure with the company. Prior to his current position, he was the owner of H|F Architecture, located in Royal Oak and Traverse City, Michigan, from 2001 to 2007. His architecture firm specialized in custom residential and commercial projects throughout the state of Michigan. Mr. Fedorinchik and his firm were the architects of record for the award-winning Copper Ridge development. Upon completion of architectural school, Mr. Fedorinchik was employed by several renowned architecture firms in Birmingham, Michigan. He has over 16 years of combined architectural and construction experience as a principal, project manager, associate and design team member.

Mr. Fedorinchik attended Lawrence Technological University to receive his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and his Masters Degree in Architecture, has his Michigan DEQ Certification for Stormwater Professionals and is a Certified Storm Water Professional through Wal-Mart Stores and the EPA approved training program.

Jeffery Kroesing, Vice President

Mr. Kroesing has been employed by Hallmark Construction, Inc. since 1979 serving in various roles. In 1990 Mr. Kroesing was appointed Vice President of Hallmark Construction, Inc. As Vice President, his duties include oversight of human resources, equipment, and safety planning. Mr. Kroesing has also served as a Project Superintendent and Project Manager on numerous projects throughout the region. His most notable experiences include the Cherry Capital Airport Terminal, NMC M-Tec Building, Traverse Area District Library, Charlevoix East Park Marina and Camp Grayling Barracks/HQ project. These projects varied in construction cost from $3,000,000 to $25,000,000. As the safety plan coordinator, he has attended numerous safety seminars and MIOSHA classes.

Mr. Kroesing has his Builders License for the State of South Carolina, has his Michigan DEQ Certification for Stormwater Professionals and is a Certified Stormwater Professional through Wal-Mart Stores and the EPA approved training program. Mr. Kroesing also has acted as a National Project Manager for the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) organization.

Jim Lewis, Project Manager & Estimator

Mr. Lewis has been employed with Hallmark Construction, Inc. as a Project Manager and Estimator since 2004. Upon graduation from college, Mr. Lewis worked for MDOT providing surveying and testing for road construction. Prior to joining Hallmark Construction, Inc. Mr. Lewis gained valuable experience as an Estimator and Project Manager for two architectural trades contractors specializing in drywall, metal studs, and acoustical ceilings. He has over 13 years of combined construction experience.

Mr. Lewis received his Bachelor of Construction Engineering degree from Western Michigan University, his Michigan DEQ Certification for Stormwater Professionals and is a Certified Storm Water Professional through Wal-Mart Stores and the EPA approved training program.

Mr. Lewis is a Graduate of the Traverse City Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program, is currently serving as the President- Northwest Michigan Builders Exchange, has served as Vice President-Northwest Michigan Builders Exchange in 2008-2010 and is a Member of Northwest Michigan Builders Exchange Governance Committee.
